The Clean Energy Company B.V. was established in 2007 and currently employs the following people:
Buu Dinh (39) - Managing Director
Buu has been with SHV since 1996 and has worked for the LPG division in Europe and Asia. From 2000 until 2007 he was responsible for SHV’s LPG activities in China. He has master degrees in Mathematics (Catholic University of Nijmegen), Logistics (Eindhoven University of Technology) and Business Administration (Warwick Business School).
Joost Samsom (38) - Director Business Development
Joost has been with SHV since 2006. Before that, Joost worked for several consultancy companies, and 6 years for the renewable energy branch of Dutch utility company Nuon of which he spent 4 years heading Nuon’s investments in Spain. He has a degree in International Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
Dirk Dekker (39) - CFO
Dirk joined The Clean Energy Company in 2008 and has been active in various financial positions within SHV since October 2000. He has degrees in Business Economics, Business Information and a post graduate degree in Financial Controlling.
François Brunero (50) – General Manager France
François joined The Clean Energy Company in 2008 and has been active in various positions within the SHV group since June 1988. He has worked for the automotive division and for the LPG division in France. François graduated from the French Superior School of Automotive and Aeronautic Engineering de Paris - F.
Maurits Croon (35) - Investment Manager
Maurits has a background in strategy consulting and corporate finance. Before joining The Clean Energy Company in August 2007, he worked with Chestnut Corporate Finance and was involved in restructuring part of the portfolio of NPM Capital, the private equity division of SHV. Maurits holds a degree in Economics from the University of Groningen.
Arne Spliet (31) - Business Development Manager
Arne joined SHV in 2006 supporting the founding of The Clean Energy Company. He graduated at Delft University of Technology in the field of integral building design and has worked for Shell as civil/project engineer on various LNG projects. For Dura Vermeer he developed the concept of sustainable floating greenhouses.
Philip Peeters (37) - General manager Benelux
Philip joined in 2008 the clean energy company and has been active since 1999 within SHV. Within the LPG division Philip has been active in different functions in Belgium and The Netherlands. He graduated as civil engineer at the Leuven university.
Douwe van der Meer (49) - Director energy systems Benelux
Douwe joined The Clean Energy Company in 2008. Before joining TCEC he worked for 5 years at the renewable energy branch of a constructing company and 17 years for a consulting company in various positions in the field of general management, commerce and business development. Douwe originally graduated in personnel management.
